School Uniform

We believe that wearing school uniform helps to promote equality, a sense of pride and belonging to our school community. Our uniform is simple, practical and smart. We encourage our children to arrive looking smart and ready for learning.  Being smart and taking a pride in their appearance will help to prepare children for their lives beyond County Bridge - at secondary school and in the world of work. It is very important that families feel no pressure for children to follow fashion or purchase expensive items. School uniform is a protective factor in ensuring this.

Please note that logos are not required on any items of uniform and they may be purchased from any shop. School do stock some uniform items for purchase at competitive prices but parents are not obliged to purchase these. If you need any help in accessing school uniform please come and speak with us and we will be happy to help.

We ask that all pupils come to school in the correct uniform each day. Full details of our expectations can be found in our School Uniform Policy, available electronically on the school website. This can also be collected from the school office.

Pre‑Loved Uniform – Free, Clean and Ready to Wear

To support families and promote sustainability, we run a pre‑loved uniform service.

All donated items are carefully checked for quality and washed thoroughly before being made available. Families can collect these items free of charge at any time. Please speak to the office staff.

Pre-Loved Uniform is also available for collection on the last Friday of every month. Please speak to the office staff for further details.

Parents and carers are welcome to:

• Visit the school office to request pre‑loved uniform
• Ask confidentially for specific items or sizes
• Donate good quality outgrown uniform to support other families

This service helps reduce waste and supports our work towards sustainability. It also supports our school community and ensures every child has access to clean, high‑quality uniform.
