Safeguarding

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is:

  • protecting children from maltreatment;
  • preventing the impairment of children’s mental and physical health or development;
  • ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and
  • taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes.

KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE IN EDUCATION SEPT 2021

At County Bridge Primary, we have an unwavering commitment for ensuring our school is a secure and safe place for all, where learning can take place in a happy, friendly and nurturing environment. All staff working at County Bridge Primary School are aware of their first and foremost responsibility for safeguarding our children and promoting the development and wellbeing of every child.

We follow the child protection procedures defined by Walsall Safeguarding Children’s Board (https://go.walsall.gov.uk/wlscb) and the multi-agency thresholds guidance. We work with our partners to ensure we secure the best outcomes for our children.
